Fairtrade chocolate company Divine Chocolate has introduced three new bars into its offer: two new bars For Baking and a Dark Chocolate with Raisins & Almonds bar.
The 70% Dark Chocolate For Baking bar is described as having an intensely rich flavour, and the 38% Milk Chocolate For Baking bar is credited with an intense cocoa hit for a seriously smooth taste.
They are both made with Fairtrade cocoa beans and are available in a chunky 200g block format for convenient melting and are produced to recipes adapted from the brand’s existing range of 100g bars. The bars, which are aimed at the 42% of Brits who bake at home each week, contain high levels of cocoa butter for quick and easy melting.
“With nearly half of British people baking weekly, the home baking trend shows no sign of waning,” explains Charlotte Green, marketing director at Divine Chocolate. “Our products are already popular with keen bakers seeking premium chocolate, which is why we are launching the same great Divine taste in a new, easier to use format with the same great taste and quality credentials.”
Divine Chocolate has also launched a 100g Dark Chocolate with Raisins & Almonds bar, as an alternative take on a classic fruit and nut bar, combining juicy sun-ripened raisins with chopped almonds and flavoured with vanilla.
Green says: “Here at Divine we are always innovating and introducing exciting new flavours to our range. We’re confident the sophisticated new Dark Chocolate with Raisins & Almonds will be popular with dark chocolate lovers and a great introduction to a more intense cocoa flavour for fans of fruit and nut chocolate.”
