Organic herb specialist Pukka is launching a new range of green teas comprising four “deliciously uplifting” new products – Supreme Matcha Green, Clean Green, Serene Jasmine Green and Cool Mint Green.
Pukka co-founder Tim Westwell says that with its new green teas the brand set out to “try to bring something different to the category – and give it the Pukka twist and functionality”.
Packed full of powerful antioxidants, the new Pukka green teas boast the health benefits of whole leaf green tea as well as a unique blend of stand-out organic herbs.
Green tea sales are the fastest growing in the tea sector, increasing by 20% in 2013. Celebrities such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Oprah and Madonna have all wised up to the benefits of green tea and drink it regularly as part of a healthy diet.

The new Pukka green teas also mark the second year of a partnership with WWF UK. 20p from the sale of each tea will be donated to WWF’s Living Himalayas project, with the target to reach at least £50,000.

Each of the four new teas offers a distinctive twist. The first bagged Matcha green tea, Pukka Supreme Matcha Green Tea is full of super antioxidant qualities that are ultra-energising and brilliant at neutralising free radicals. Marrying Matcha – increasingly recognized as a superfood – with tea means everyday consumption is more convenient than ever. Described asa “purifying green tea with a luscious lemony lift” Pukka Clean Green combines Sencha Fairtrade whole leaf green tea for a deliciously smooth and full bodied taste. Pukka Serene Jasmine Green meanwhile is formulated with a soothing blend of Mao Feng Fairtrade whole green tea infused with some of nature’s most beautifully delicious flowers including lavender and chamomile. And Cool Mint Green combines organic, Fairtrade whole leaf green tea with rejuvenating Egyptian spearmint.
