The organic sector is innovative, sustainable, and inspiring. What better way to celebrate it than by recognizing the most outstanding and innovative contributors who help reduce the environmental and climate impact of agriculture? That’s the goal of the EU Organic Awards—a set of prizes designed to raise public awareness of organic production in the EU, improve the accessibility and affordability of organic products, and showcase sustainable projects and initiatives that add real value.
7 Awards in 6 Categories
The fourth edition of the awards will grant a total of seven prizes across six different categories:
- Best organic farmer (female) and Best organic farmer (male): Recognizes a certified organic male and female farmer who have carried out innovative projects and initiatives, with a focus on young farmers up to 40 years old.
- Best organic region/bio-district: Highlights a region or bio-district that has developed a sustainable project that provides real added value to organic production and consumption.
