EcorNaturaSì has sold 100% of its shares in Biotobio srl to Probios and will become a minority partner in the new Biotobio and Probios company, thereby contributing to the creation of a new strategic pole in the business-to-business distribution of the most historic Italian organic brands. This partnership will allow for the maintenance and strengthening of synergies, particularly in the use of raw materials from the EcorNaturaSì ecosystem and the shared logistics located in Bologna.
At the same time, 100% of the shares of Biotobio Ibérica have been transferred from Biotobio to EcorNaturaSì. The Spanish and Portuguese markets remain strategic for the EcorNaturaSì group. For this reason, Biotobio Ibérica has been integrated into the group’s mother company. Biotobio Ibérica will continue to develop its two main activities: distribution and logistics platform services for the Bioconsum and NaturaSì store networks in Spain.

In particular, it is important to highlight that we have renewed the exclusive distribution rights for La Finestra sul Cielo for Spain and Portugal, as well as maintaining our distribution activity with other brands such as Voelkel, Quinua Real, Alce Nero, Slendier, Vivani, Ichoc, Iris, and Germinal, among others. In September, we will strengthen our distribution catalog with new brands.”
Biotobio Ibérica will continue its growth process as a logistics platform for the development of the Bioconsum and NaturaSì retail projects in Spain. This project aims to integrate independent stores in the specialized organic channel into the same ecosystem, offering them services to improve their profitability. Bioconsum acts as a central negotiation, supply and logistics centre, while offering training, IT and commercial services, etc. Some of the stores grouped in Bioconsum also adhere to the NaturaSì brand.
The goal is that this new organisation will allow the organic movement to develop further, so that it can reach a growing number of people, contributing to the recovery of our planet, which is increasingly in need of healthy agriculture.
